Speaker brought up by the father (fisherman) and the mother (housewife, later fisherman). Spoke Khanty from birth, Russian — from 9 years. Studied in boarding school, 2 years. Worked in kolkhoz. Had 5 children. Lived in Megipugol'skaya, Staroakasomskaya, Lukashkin Yar (both Khanty and Russian environment along Ob' river). Speaks Russian with family members, they understand some khanty words, but do not speak.
