Non profit-making organization primarily engaged in typological linguistics
research. Endangered languages are also relevant to this field.
Living Tongues: a non-profit organization dedicated to the
documentation, revitalization, and maintenance of endangered languages
globally through linguist-aided, community driven multi-media projects.
International Clearing House for Endangered
Languages (ICHEL)
Information on current state of maintenance, documentation, degree of
endangerment and all other relevant information on the world's endangered
languages.
The Society for the Study
of the Indigenous Languages of the Americas (SSILA)
Promotes research into indigenous languages in North,
Central and South America.
The Foundation for Endangered Languages Acts to raise awareness of endangered languages; support the use of
endangered languages; monitor linguistic policies and practices, influence
the appropriate authorities; support the documentation of endangered
languages; offering financial assistance, training, or facilities for the
publication of results; collect information on preservation of endangered

Project with the aim of creating a major reference work- a general survey of
