 Project objectives
  • analyze the budgetary process in Latvia compared with international standards
  • identify corruption risk zones and conduct select case studies on possible misuses of the budgetary process
  • write a research and policy paper in coordination with mentors on budget expenditure and corruption for Latvian and international researchers, informed civil society and media, as well as members of the Latvian Parliament and Government, especially those dealing with public finance policies
