In accordance with the project implementation schedule, the following activities were carried out in April-May 2005:

1. Web-site was developed and made operational with the following documents uploaded: Project description, Project timetable, Project mentors, CV, Links.
2. An information program on WB and EBRD in Russia was arranged by the press-secretary of St.Petersburg Center “Strategy” at the local radio station “Open city” in April 2005.
3. Interviews were done with the following Russian civil society organizations and their representatives:

• Mikhail Kozeltsev, Executive Director of Russian Regional Environmental Center (Moscow).
•  Leonid Grigoriev, President of the Russian Association of Independent Centers for Economic Analysis (Moscow), former Russian representative in the WB (Washington D.C.)
• Marina Khotuleva, Director of Center for Environmental Assessment ECOLINE (Moscow). 
• Masha Vorontsova, Director, International Fund for Animal Welfare (Moscow).

4. I attended the annual EBRD meeting that took place in Belgrade, S&M, 22-23 May. Parallel to business and governmental meeting, an impressive and comprehensive series of meetings with Department Directors, political advisers and members of the Board of Directors was organized for NGOs. I attended meetings of the NGO program, as well as Russia presentation, session on women in business and a session on anti-corruption.

• Interview with Doina Caloianu, Manager, Outreach and NGO Relations, Communications Department, EBRD and Mariana Katzarova, EBRD Adviser NGO Relations.
• Meeting with the EBRD Banking Team Director, Victor Pastor who sits in Moscow
• Meeting with Balthasar Lindauer, Deputy Director for Nuclear Safety Department, EBRD.
