Born on December, 9th, 1961 in Karnalowo, Blagoevgrad region.
1985- graduates the University of Plovdiv “Paisii Hiljandarski”, specialty
“mathematics”
1977 -specializes in the Academy of Management in Munich, Germany.
1988 -specializes local government in the University of North Caroline,
US.
1985-1995 - lecturer in maths in “Ivan Vasov” School-Blagoevgrad and
a visiting assistant professor in maths in the Southwestern University
“Neofit Rilski” in Blagoevgrad.
October 1995 to July 2001- mayor of the municipality of Blagoevgrad.
1996-2000- member of the Management Council of the National Association
of Municipalities in Bulgaria
January, 2000- 2001-chairman of the National Association of Municipalities
in Bulgaria
Since July, 2001 until December, 2002- Vice-premier minister and a minister
of regional development and public works in the Republic of Bulgaria
Since January, 2003- at present- advisor to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, internal policy
