2002 - 2003:
Foreign policy planning institutions and the problem of probability forecasts
The objectives of the project are to focus on the British and American planning bodies in their formative years to produce findings that clearly address problems in the relationship between politicians and bureaucrats/professionals; deepen the understanding of the non-trivial ways in which institutional history affects institutional performance; publish an extended essay and write a policy paper on foreign policy planning institutions directed to specific policymaking bodies and/or individuals.
