Turkish women in business: Barriers to the success of women's enterprises in Turkey
The research aims to explore the nature and scope of barriers that hinder the success of women entrepreneurs or those willing to start micro or small businesses in Turkey; design appropriate policy models to reduce gender inequalities in collaboration with women entrepreneurs and their associations at national and regional levels; and write a research and policy paper in the field of gender policy for Turkish governmental agencies such as the Directorate of the Status and Problems of Women, non-governmental organizations such as the Women's Solidarity Foundation KADAV, the Confederation of Small Tradesmen and Artisans of Turkey, and the Small and Medium Industry Development Organization KOSGEB.
