2002 - 2003: The role of universities in the construction of new social realities
The objectives of the project are to conduct an analysis of the structure, quality, and content of public affairs in Russian universities; research the impact of universities on society and especially youth; elaborate recommendations regarding innovations and reforms in Russian university policies in general and in the Irkutsk region in particular; and write a research and policy paper to be presented to the Board of Rectors of the Irkutsk Region Universities, Irkutsk State University, Irkutsk State Technical University, and the Department of Higher Education and Science of the Government of Irkutsk.
