1999 - 2000: Freedom of information in Tajikistan
The objectives of the project are to develop a policy paper in the fields of media and law/human rights, conduct research on human rights violations in Tajikistan with particular emphasis on freedom of expression, produce several reports on the findings, and promote the awareness of journalists and the general public about international human rights standards guaranteeing freedom of expression.
