2002 - 2003: Children's services policies in European and Asian transitional states
The aim of the project is to study the process of formulating and implementing long- and short-term policies and strategies associated with children's services in transitional states in Europe and Asia; identify similarities and differences regarding problems and priorities for policymakers and civil society in these states; and write a research and policy paper to provide guidelines to policymaking institutions in national and local governments and the informal sector in Pakistan including the National Reconstruction Bureau of Pakistan, the Planning Commission of the Pakistani Government and UNICEF-Pakistan.
