2002 - 2003: Private television empires in Central Europe and freedom of expression: Comparative analysis of Poland and Slovakia
The objectives of the project are to compare western private mass media standards and analyze their applicability in Central Europe; conduct a comparative analysis of the institutional arrangements and political culture of Polish and Slovak private mass media; and write a research and policy paper on new media regulations in Central Europe for Polish and Slovak media policymakers and independent media organizations.
