2003 - 2004: Tobacco control advocacy in Ukraine
The objectives of the project are to monitor the tactics of the tobacco industry in Ukraine; conduct country-specific research in tobacco control legislation and economics; establish a mechanism for tobacco control advocacy to counter tobacco industry lobbying tactics; support tobacco control initiatives in Ukraine's changing socio-political environment; and produce a policy paper for the Ministry of Health and the Public Health Committee of the Ukrainian Parliament.
