Regional security in the South Caucasus: A realistic approach
The objectives of the project are to analyze the way security-related policies are developed in the transitional societies of Georgia and Caucasus;explore the nature and dynamics of strategic preferences and perceptions of security threats among political élites and the population; and write research and policy paper for the governmental bodies (chancelleries, Security Councils, Foreign Ministries) of the respective governments in the region and international organizations dealing with regional security/stability issues such as OSCE, NATO, UN.

2001 - 2002: Stability Pact for the South Caucasus: New initiatives for regional security
The objectives of the project are to identify new factors, initiatives and perceptions associated with regional security in the South Caucasus; analyze the feasibility and implications of various security arrangements and propose relevant recommendations; and develop a policy paper on how the findings impact the future stability of the Caucasus.
