2001 - 2002: Improving access to media for the disabled hearing population
The project aims to improve understanding of the communicational barriers encountered by the deaf population in accessing Romanian visual media, identify ways and means of promoting the deaf population's access to television programs, refine definitions of exclusion and promote the inclusion of disabled persons in mainstream activities, and develop a policy paper in the field of media policy.
