2003 - 2004: Strategic environmental assessment of Hungarian local governments
The objectives of the project are to establish a research framework for analyzing of the decision-making process at local governments in Central European countries; investigate how strategic environmental assessment (SEA) and other environmental assessment tools can be most effectively integrated into these processes; and write a research and policy paper for representatives of the municipalities of Aba, Hatvan and Miskolc, the Central Transdanubian Regional Development Agency, and the Regional Development Department of the Prime Minister's Office.
