2006 - 2007: Making European human rights policy attractive and effective for Russia
The objectives of the project are to analyze the role of non-state actors in promoting European democratic norms and practices in European Union neighbor countries; develop strategies for the successful involvement of NGOs in the transfer of democratic norms and practices to Russia; and write policy study and research paper for relevant Russian NGOs, concerned EU officials and donor agencies, and Russian governmental officials involved in developing the EU-Russian Common Space of Freedom, Security, and Justice.
