2004 - 2005: Lithuanian mental health policy: Present and future challenges
The objectives of the project are to analyze Lithuanian legislation and government policy on mental health; to overview the relevant international norms and standards and their interpretation and implementation in domestic legislation; devise recommendations on developing an effective advocacy strategy encouraging positive change in Lithuanian mental health policy; and write a research and policy paper targeting relevant government authorities, policy stakeholders, and the general public in an attempt to raise awareness about people with mental disabilities.
