2001 - 2002: Strategies for developing information societies: The case of Romania
The objectives of the project are to assess the communication channels, positions and action strategies of governmental institutions, the European Union Commission and relevant information technology interest groups with respect to the development of the Romanian IT sector; examine the medium-term implications of these strategies on prospects for the development of Romanian information society; devise recommendations for IT regulators; and develop a policy paper in the field of information policy.
