2005 - 2006: Policy reform in Romania: The learning government
The objective of the project is to assess efforts to improve the policymaking process and their actual impact on governmental reform in Romania; utilize examples and hypotheses, previously tested in the region and other transition countries; to identify strong and weak aspects of policy reform impact, with a focus on the activities of international organizations and development donors; and write a research paper and policy study with recommendations for the Central Government (General Secretariat of the Government and the Chancellery of the Prime Minister) and donors such as the World Bank, European Commission, DFID, UNDP, etc.
