2003 - 2004: Improving the public policymaking process in Armenia
The objectives of the project are to analyze the policymaking process of the Armenian National Assembly with a special focus on existing lobby groups and other influences; compare the policymaking practices in Armenia with those of other countries; identify the weaknesses of the policy process in Armenia and the capacity of the Armenian National Assembly; develop a strategy to improve constituency relations; organize a training and a seminar devoted to the research and proposed strategy; and write a research and policy paper to promote the research findings with the National Assembly Administration, deputies and other stakeholders.
