2003 - 2004: Human rights protection mechanisms in the Czech Republic: Enhancing effectiveness
The objectives of the project are to map out and analyze the functioning of human rights protection mechanisms in the Czech Republic with the understanding that such mechanisms function within a complex, interdependent structure that involves state institutions and civil society actors and their mutual interactions; formulate proposals for achieving greater access, affordability and effectiveness of human rights protection; and write a research and policy paper on human rights institution-building for the Human Rights Commissioner of the Czech Government.
