1999 - 2000: Conflict resolution in the North Caucasus
The objectives of the project are to develop a policy paper in the fields of civil society and minority issues; explore new approaches for conducting humanitarian activities and supporting elements of civil society in the North Caucasus; establish a channel of information from these regions focusing on constructive activities at the community level; and disseminate information about potential crises in the region and provide recommendations proposing activities aimed at reducing such crises to international agencies, foundations, embassies and other relevant actors.
