2005 - 2006: Residential segregation in Romanian housing policy: Problems and solutions
The objectives of the project are to study residential segregation based on ethnic and income criteria and its influence on educational segregation in several existing housing initiatives (around 3-4 housing projects) in / for Roma communities; discuss these empirical findings with stakeholders in order to define a clear, operational strategy to address specific risks of residential segregation associated with such housing projects (especially the risks of segregation in current and future public housing projects); and write a research policy study with policy recommendations for Romanian policy makers.

2003 - 2004: Romanian Roma: From micro projects to macro policy
The objectives of the project are to a conduct comparative analysis of public policies affecting Roma and the implementation of such policies in European countries with a special focus on Romania; underline the major debates in the field; and write a research and policy paper for the National Office for the Roma within the Ministry of Public Information, the Minorities' Department within the Ministry of Education and Research, and the Anti-Poverty Governmental Commission.
