2001 - 2002: Minority protection in the European Union: Effective remedies
The objectives of the project are to provide an up-to-date analysis of European Union legislation and remedies pertaining to the protection of minorities, devise a set of recommendations regarding effective legal remedies for violations of the rights of minorities and third party nationals from both accession and non-accession countries, and develop a policy paper on the impact of EU expansion on non-accession countries.
