The Center for Industrial Democracy Development was established in 1998, as an association of citizens, and has been registered in the beginning of the year 2000, as a Non-Governmental Organization. The Center is located in Podgorica; address: Novaka Miloseva 29/I. The Center is represented by Dragan Djuric.
The Center deals with the following issues:
- Surveys and polling of public opinion on social and
economic topics;
- Scientific analysis of current situation in relation
to the social and economic development of the society;
- Advocacy and critical analysis of the existing laws
regulating labor relations;
- Publishing of findings in labor related publications:
bulletins, magazines, brochures, books, etc;
- Cooperation with centers for additional education of
workers;
- Cooperation with the trade union school for training
of the trade union activists;
- Data recording on various forms of training of the
trade union members;
- Comparative studies in the field of labor in countries
in transition;
The Center issued the following publications:

2. Trade Union and Media, 2000 (Trade Union activists’
manual)
The Center did following surveys:
1. 1998 – Montenegrin workers’ opinion on privatization
and trade union
2. 2001 – Social status of the workers in small private
enterprises
