During my fellowship with Open Society Institute, I was approached by a young editor of an English newspaper in Yemen, Mrs. Nadia Al’Saqqaf. She has provided for me a venue to express my views about policy in Yemen through the newspaper. The product was “Policy Line”, a column that dealt with the topic of governance, democracy, and communication from a Yemeni perspective.
