ANNUAL ACTIVITY REPORT OCTOBER 2006-SEPTEMBER 2007

       Between October and September 2007, I Carried Out the Following Activities:-

1. Conducted More Interviews with Stakeholders in the Sector and Experts on Issues that Needed Further Clarifications

2. Studied Experience of Botswana in Governing Minerals

3. Attend the Seminar in Istanbul on Writing Effective Policy Paper

4. Attended Advocacy and Resource Management Seminars in Budapest

5. Attend International Conference in South Africa 

6. Continued to Improve the Policy Paper Incorporating Comments from the

Group Advisor and OSI

7. Produced Final Edition of the Policy Paper

8. Submitted Policy Paper to the OSI for forwarding to the PDC

9. Submitted Financial Report and Receipts to the OSI

10. Submitted Policy Paper to the publisher (Tanzania) for editing, proofreading and

Publishing

11. Prepared Annual Activity Report.

• Most of These Activities Aligned with my Original Work Plans, Except for the Submission of Financial Report that was delayed for a couple of weeks

• The next stage (Before end of 2007), I plan to start intensive advocacy campaigns
