Networking and coalition-building

Working on creating networks (groups of organizations or institutions which exchange information and/or services) and coalitions (alliances of organizations for joint actions) can help a lot in your work. Here are few of their positive effects:
· They make your voice stronger.
· They enable groups who do not work on advocacy to support advocacy efforts useful to their work.
· They increase the pool of information and contacts.
· They help avoid the duplication of efforts.
· They can help voicing quick responses to human rights violations.

A successful coalition is more powerful and efficient than would be the case if each group was acting individually.
