My name is Mukhtar Ahmad Ali and I am currently working as Executive Director with Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives, Pakistan (CPDI-Pakistan). I am also a visiting faculty member of Iqra University, Islamabad. I have over 8 years of work experience in development sector. Areas of my special interest include promotion of peace and tolerance, police reforms, transparency and access to information, regulatory reforms, and legislative and democratic development. I have two M. Phil degrees, one in International Relations from the Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad; and the other in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, UK.
