Planning and implementing bone marrow transplantation services at University Clinical Center, Ljubljana and organising a bank for the non-relative donors (1986- 1994);
Implementing education for health care professionals and volunteers at the Slovene Hospice Association (1999);
Initiator for the funding and establishing of Palliative Care Development Institute, Ljubljana (2000);
Planning of professional program and strategy at the Palliative Care Development Institute (2000 – 2003);
Leadership in the project at the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Science: “Changing of communication in health care” Sept. 2001 – Sept. 2003;
Innovations in postgraduate education for health care professionals in the field of palliative care and communication;
Establishment of a system of supervision for health care professionals;
Founder and president of the National Committee for Palliative Care Plan 2004-2008, appointed by the Ministry of health;
