Beata Klimkiewicz is a PhD candidate at the Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland. She teaches the course on Nationalism, Ethnicity and the Media at International School of Journalism. As the OSI Policy Fellow she works  on a project: Participation of ethnic minorities in the public sphere.

The project aims at finding a new model for participation of ethnic minorities in the public sphere. This model is planned to suggest a range of policies to be overtaken to improve ethnic minority involvement in the media as main channels of public participation.
