Experience in community building projects

 

Since 1994 As  University Lecturer in Social Work, involved in grant writing and advisory capacity in the development of new community social services in the city of Oradea. Among other projects, participated in the elaboration and implementation of a project funded by the European Union through the Phare Program which resulted in the institutionalisation of specific services aimed at the community and social integration of the homeless in Oradea.

Since 1996: Consultant to the Reformed Church District in Oradea in community building, civil society and social work issues. Member in the grant writing committee of the Reformed Church District.

Since 1999 Local Community Development Facilitator in Biharia, Bihor County, Romania: Consultant for the Biharigaz Foundation, Lazarus Association and the Tele-center in Biharia

Since 1999 Funding Member and Member in the Executive of the Senzor Foundation for the Needs of Deaf Children and Youth. In this capacity co-ordinated several projects for the improvement of community and social integration of the population with disabled hearing

Since 2000: Funding Member and Consultant for the Association of Tele-centers in Romania.

Since 2000: Consultant (in grant writing and project implementing capacity) for the Union of Roma in Bihor County. Among other projects, participated in the implementation of a project funded by Open Society Institute, which resulted in setting up a special educational module for teaching Roma culture and language in Salonta

Since 2003: Funding Member of the Interdisciplinary Group for the Study and Promotion of Sustainable Development, Oradea, Romania
